Continuing Education 

We offer, all day, focus training workshops just for licensed professionals like yourself. Our instructors are well versed in all facets of Cosmetology, with training certifications from Redkin, Paul Mitchell, Bio Ionics, Milady, Matrix, Nuts & Bolts, Mac makeup and more.  Instructors continue their training with mandatory quarterly continued education courses and are veteran hairdressing/barbering professionals. Great classes, plenty of chances to sign up, with 23 seminars in 2010.  (Note: The dates in the calendar are explained in detail on the competitions page.) 

The Classes:  An extensive and exploratory refresher course that covers:                     

                                                           1)Ergonomics; How to properly prevent occupational diseases.

                                                           2)Color theory; The color wheel, color canceling, & complimentary colors

                                                           3) 4 Basic haircuts; Sound and quick practices with texture techniques

                                                           4) Single process; Color lifting up to 3 levels from natural or existing color

                                                           5) Fringe highlight or Rim Zone frost; Using foil - with toner do's/ don'ts  

                          Time: Mondays @ 12:00pm- 7:00pm beginning 01/25/10--CLASS CALENDAR--                                                                                

 Note: This class includes all information mentioned, materials/implements associated with the text, literature, lunch and a notarized certificate of completion upon close of each seminar.  You leave with so much you will be more than satisfied!

*Note:Hundreds of dollars in prizes are given out in every class and along with a certificate, students will receive a "BacktoBusiness Certified Stylist (or Salon)"sticker to put on their station (or in their salon), and discounts to all featured competition events!

Classes are first come first serve.  We seat up to thirty(30) stylist per session, if the session is booked our representatives will try their best to accommodate you.  Discount opportunities and payment plans are available upon request, contact a representative with any questions or comments. We teach hands- on refresher courses only, no advanced techniques like corrective color are discussed. For educational purposes only, not affiliated with any institutions, schools, or distributors. BacktoBusiness Seminars are Solely responsible for any concerns. Classes are designated for adults, over the age of 18 (with proof of identity). All participants must show proof of a valid, Cosmetology license, no exceptions. The BacktoBusiness series is based on but not directly derived from the 2008 Milady's Standard Text; which is predominately used in most private and public cosmetology schools--- and is furthermore implemented in the Connecticut State Board Exam. All inquiries and comments are taken into full consideration and answered accordingly.
