*Cure For the Common Stylist Hairshow and Competition*
We are so excited to present the 'Cure For the Common Stylist' competition to also be held at the Playhouse it is open to all stylist and awards three winners! April 21,2011!
1st Place: $1000.00
2nd Place: $500

Competitor Information: All competing stylist must be signed up and paid in full by Monday 4/18/11. It is a total look competition, so stylists are encouraged to make an overall change in their model’s look. Stylist must have their own model, products, props, and wardrobe including makeup. Please be creative but understand this is not a ‘Fantasy’ competition so the looks you create must be rational and wearable and geared toward a themed life occasion or setting. You are encouraged to complete your model before arrival, but you will have access to the dressing and bathrooms for finishing touches and a total of 4 hours for plans before ShowTime. Please keep all themes and apparel classy and ‘rated pg’. Show day; doors open for you at 2:00pm you will be expected to arrive on time by 4pm or you forfeit the competition and may enter as a guest only, however you will have the opportunity to use the remaining credit toward future shows (up to two) minus the cost of your seat. Enter at your own risk. Mastery Seminars will accept no responsibility for mishaps in preparation. We encourage an adult audience over 12 yrs of age. No refunds. Judging: there will be (up to) 75 total competitors. 25 stylists in three sections or waves Your models will be directed on stage by the stage manager, she will have 1 minute and 90 seconds alone time to display your creativity while the last ten seconds the stage will be shared with the arriving model. We will have three industry judges in place for this area to choose the final nine (9). If from this second stage display your model is chosen, you will have a maximum of 5 minutes to fab your theme with anything you like. No rules for this section (so go ahead and use the body paint!) This section’s winners will be chosen by audience popularity vote and narrowed to final 6. Final 6 will be judged in the same manner with top 3 and three runners up,
